The East Midlands Conventions are a series of events bringing stars and artists from the world of science fiction and fantasy to sell out audiences in Nottingham, UK. Featuring guests from shows including Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Farscape, Primeval and films including Star Wars and Harry Potter, these multimedia events have proved extremely popular with ticket buyers, prompting a move to a larger venue for 2015. Russell Dennison, Sales Manager at Capital FM Arena Nottingham said: “We are delighted to be working with the EM-Con team to bring next year’s event to the East Midlands’ Premier Entertainment venue, Capital FM Arena. We’ve held initial talks on layouts and ideas for the event and we’re very excited to be working on a project that is undoubtedly going to become a not-to-be-missed event in the Convention calendar.”
