The Elk River Treatment Program (ERTP) is a treatment facility for ages 12 - 18 that are struggling with behavioral health, mental health or substance abuse issues. ERTP provides diagnostic, assessment and psychological treatment services in a safe, supervised residential environment. We provide a year-round education program that is accredited by AdvancED/SACS. Individualized treatment plans are developed by a professional treatment team led by a child and adolescent forensic psychiatrist. Our treatment team includes licensed mental health counselors, advanced alcohol and drug counselor, registered nurses, highly qualified and state certified teachers.Guided by an experienced clinical team and support staff, our clients learn learn to identify and address core issues that lead to negative behaviors. ERTP is a program of Pinnacle Behavioral Health, Inc. headquartered in Huntsville, AL. ERTP is licensed by the State of Alabama Department of Youth. All programs of Pinnacle Behavioral Health are accredited in Behavioral Health Care by The Joint Commission.
