ELK FILM ApS Information

Sofie holds a MSc in Visual Anthropology and a BA in Anthropology from Aarhus University. She has worked with Elk Film since 2016 starting out as Production manager of distribution initiative Dinner&Docs and later as researcher, production assistent, production manager, executive producer and co-director. Sofie is trained in anthropological research & audio-visual dissemination methods and did her masters on sensory ethnography in the Peruvian Amazon. Besides her work within film she is co-manager of cultural union CAP with extensive experience in project- and event management, fundraising and networking within Copenhagens cultural and art scene. Birgitte holds a BA in Anthropology at University of Copenhagen in 2013. She has worked with Elk Film since 2014. Since then she has been a part of all the different processes of Elk's minor and bigger productions as a producer assistant, production manager, accountant and much more. Birgitte works part time in a local cinema from where she has a thorough knowledge of the documentary world.
