Melissa is a degree qualified Naturopath, having studied a bachelor of health science at Endeavour College of Natural Health, Brisbane and is a proud member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association. Melissa has over 5 years experience in the complimentary health industry and continually stays up to date with the latest in evidence based medicine through seminars and workshops. Melissa knows first hand what its like to be confronted with health concerns. As a teenager she suffered with severe anxiety and depression and with the care and guidance of a Naturopath was able to manage and seek relief. Then at the age of 26, part way through her studies, Melissa was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. This opened her eyes to the increasing prevalence of thyroid conditions and the lack of support available to those suffering with thyroid concerns.
