After several years of practicing architecture ELĪNA DOBELE founded the first design shoe brand in The Baltci States - Riga, Latvia. All shoes and accessories are made in her own atelier. This workshop / studio / shop serves as a platform to link design, sustainable business thinking, traditional slow craft of shoe making and community. Assuming shoes as small houses for the feet, Elīna is using her architectural experience when designing. Pure forms, transformable constructions, deliberative use of materials reveals structural yet poetical approach of thinking.
