We are Elgin Energy, a fully integrated, utility-scale, solar+storage platform that brings projects from origination through development and provides asset management and energy trading and optimisation services once the assets are operational. Since being founded in 2009, we have expanded internationally and have a team of over 80 people in our Dublin, London and Sydney offices. With a multi-GW pipeline across three technologies (solar only, co-located and storage only) in development across the UK, Ireland and Australia, Elgin is regarded as one of the most active and experienced developers within each of these markets. To date, we have delivered close to a 1GW of ready-to-build solar PV and storage projects , including the largest operational solar farms in Northern Ireland (Bann Road, 46MW) and Scotland (Errol, 13MW). We work closely with leading planning and grid consultants, along with industry experts, to ensure our projects achieve energisation, and we have an unparalleled 98% success rate in gaining planning permission, thanks to our team and key partners' work.
