Elephouse is a to-do app built around radical simplicity: one single line. Type “Dentist tomorrow 3pm #health” and Elephouse automatically understands the title, date, time, and tag. No setup, no onboarding, no manual. WHAT SETS ELEPHOUSE APART • Your personal list is permanently tied to your account and always appears under your name. It cannot be shared, left, deleted, or renamed. It is your own quiet space. • Shared lists have no hierarchy and no owner. Every member has the same rights. Invitations are sent to a specific email address, must be deliberately accepted, and anyone who wants out simply leaves the list. • “Today” automatically brings together every task that is due across your private and shared lists. No configuration required. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Elephouse is developed and operated in Germany, with data processing under the GDPR. If you ever decide to move on, you can export all open and completed tasks as todo.txt. It is an open text format, with no proprietary lock-in. WHO BUILDS ELEPHOUSE Elephouse is not a traditional startup. It is a one-person project from Leipzig, built alongside a part-time job and originally created as my own personal task list. I use Elephouse every day myself. For me, it is a tool first and a product second and that is exactly why I keep developing it. WHAT COMES NEXT Tasks are already live. A calendar that automatically combines tasks and appointments is currently being built. Habits, Notes & Journal, and Finances are also planned.
