Greenkote is the developer of a patented corrosion-blocking, thermal diffusion coating technology – the Greenkote® process. This process is eco-friendly and involves no solvents, heavy metals or acids. In the Greenkote process, finished metal parts are heated in the presence of proprietary treated zinc alloy powders, causing the powders to vaporize and react with the metal part surfaces. The resulting coating is metallurgically bonded into the surface, providing exceptional corrosion resistance, increased hardness and strong adhesion to paints and other topcoats. Greenkote can also coat small assemblies of parts that include features such as hinges, and still provide uniform coverage.
