Founded in 1950, Electract Ltd operates from a head office in Northwest Leicestershire with a branch office in Nottinghamshire. We pride ourselves on our reputation for delivering quality electrical installations of up to £10M to the very highest standards. A major factor in this is our strategy of employing our own electricians & apprentices. In 2000 we accelerated our apprentice recruitment to reflect our belief that this is the best route to develop & grow the company, with over 125 coming through our ranks since then, and we don't stop there! Almost half of our office-based engineering staff & two thirds of our senior site-based foremen have served their apprenticeships with us. The resulting familiarity with an individual's strengths & experiences gives us a mutually beneficial level of control with project labour allocation. The outcome is the continuity of the high standards and professionalism which distinguishes our company from many others.
