Elections PEI is a non-partisan agency of the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island responsible for administering provincial elections, by-elections, plebiscites and referenda. Elections PEI works under the direction and guidance of the Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Tim G. Garrity. The Chief Electoral Officer is appointed under the province's Election Act, and is an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly.
