El Ranchito is the leading Spanish-speaking European company in the field of visual effects for film, television and advertising. Created in 2004, it has offices in Madrid and Barcelona, with a staff of more than 200 professionals recognized in the international industry for their participation in series such as Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian, Carnival Row, Five Days at Memorial, Lost in Space, Halo, Shadow and Bone, Locke & Key or See, and in films such as Society of The Snow, A Monster Calls, The Impossible and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, by J.A. Bayona. Our work has been awarded with two Emmy, six VES from the Visual Effects Society, two HPA from the Hollywood Professional Association, one Excellence Award from the European Film Awards, one Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, ten Goyas and fourth Gaudí Awards. El Ranchito is part of the international visual effects group Pitch Black Company, which also includes FOLKS and Rising Sun Pictures. Pitch Black employs more than 1,400 people worldwide, spread across fourteen locations in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Saguenay, Adelaide, Brisbane, Bogota, Madrid, Barcelona, London and Mumbai.
