(EIPET) is joint venture company between Dhunseri Petrochemical and Tea Limited (DPTL,) a company incorporated in India and listed on Bombay stock exchange and national stock exchange (70% stake holder in EIPE) Egyptian petrochemical holding co (ECHEM) an Egyptian company owned by government of Egypt (23% stake holder in EIPET) and engineering petroleum and process industries (ENPPI) an Egyptian company owned by government of Egypt (7% stake holder in ElPET). The project is the first PET plant in north Africa and one of the largest in the Middle East.
