EFICO Information

EFICO is a green coffee specialist established in 1926. By sourcing from around 40 countries and supplying our worldwide customers, we carefully select all those involved in the coffee supply chain, forging reliable long-term partnerships. Quality, Food Safety, Traceability and Sustainability are EFICO’s cornerstones. We believe it is our duty to deliver a high-qualitative product, whilst taking into account and limit our impact on the environment and on society. The EFICO team strongly believes in the 10 United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Principles, to which it was the first coffee trading company to sign up to in 2003. This commitment is reinforced by the ambition and commitment towards 5 out of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) since early 2016. Responsible entrepreneurship is part of our ‘Coffee Genes’. The EFICO FOUNDATION, a private foundation established in 2003 to positively impact the livelihoods, prosperity and environment of the coffee communities in a structural way through multi-stakeholder projects, fully supports this vision. SEABRIDGE, EFICO’s state-of-the-art green coffee logistics center & warehouse established is 2008 is another example. More info on: www.efico.com
