Eejot (), which in Maithili language means light, is a non profit organization to help students in remote villages of Nepal with education. It is run solely by volunteers and through help of potential volunteers like you. Our mission is to improve and facilitate education in remote villages of Nepal. Its tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of Internal Revenue Code . Here are some of our goals: Annual contests to bring competitive spirits in children. Besides financial help, we are always looking for volunteers as well as educational materials such as old laptops, school supplies and educational toys.
