CIEE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing peace through people-to-people intercultural exchange. Since 1947, CIEE has built bridges between different people, countries, and cultures through study abroad and international exchange programs, helping over 1.5 million young people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world. Today, CIEE serves more than 50,000 participants annually through college and high school study abroad, global internship, BridgeUSA, and other international exchange programs. With programs in more than 45 cities across 30+ countries and as the largest U.S. Department of State BridgeUSA sponsor, CIEE expands access to life-changing international experiences that develop global perspectives, strengthen career readiness, and nurture friendships that transcend borders.

School for International Training celebrates 60 years of educating global citizens through experiential international education. Employing an immersive approach through our graduate and study abroad programs, students step beyond the boundaries of a traditional classroom to analyze the critical global issues impacting communities around the world. SIT Graduate Institute offers full-time global master’s degrees, part-time online doctoral degrees, and certificates in formats that fit the needs of professionals working to address the world’s most critical global issues. SIT Study Abroad offers accredited field-based semester and summer programs for undergraduate students. Students can choose from over 60 programs across Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa, as well as comparative International Honors Programs that take place across multiple countries. SIT Graduate Institute prepares students from across the globe to be effective leaders, professionals, and citizens. SIT’s graduate and professional development programs are rooted in the experiential education model, where learning occurs at the nexus of theory and practice. Students are trained to become highly skilled practitioners who have a commanding knowledge of the theoretical basis of their profession; experience in the field; and an awareness of their own capabilities, values, and ethics. Cultural Homestay International (CHI) is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1980 by Tom and Lilka Areton to promote international understanding and goodwill through people-to-people exchanges. We believe that the best way to build bridges of friendship and trust among people is to experience directly each others' customs, languages and values. To live, study or work together leads to a transformational experience of acceptance and genuine affection. Young people who live with Americans as a family member, participate in the local community, or train in an American business open their minds to the values of volunteering, democracy and freedom. CHI aspires to share the benefits of cultural interchange with the many nations of the earth in the deeply held conviction that such exchanges ultimately contribute to a more prosperous and peaceful world.
