Independent Educational Consultant Educational advisor for high school students interested in matriculating at a University in the United States and U.S. college students interested in spending an educational summer or semester in Greece. Assists students in making informed choices during the university application process by providing individual attention and guidance in researching educational and financial options. Laura believes that it is important that the student has ownership of the application process and gently guides them with support and motivation throughout this transitional cycle. In her role as a college admissions counselor, she provides information to help high school students make informed decisions regarding post-secondary education possibilities. She helps students discover the wide range of educational choices available, to relax and enjoy the process of self-discovery and assists them in finding the best fit possible for their college experience. An educational consultant is a resource for families who believe that their children could benefit from extra support and attention during this often anxious time. In addition, as a college "coach" she helps students to stay organized, motivated and to meet deadlines throughout the process which often helps to keep the parent and student relationship healthy.
