Edmonton's NextGen Information

Originally started in 2010 as an Edmonton City Council initiative, Edmonton’s NextGen was created to empower the next generation of leaders and citizens. In 2020, with the gracious support of the City of Edmonton, Edmonton’s NextGen officially became an independent non-profit society in the community. Edmonton’s NextGen continues to create and sustain a network of engaged citizens between the ages of 18 to 40, provide a platform for the sharing of new ideas and give voice to the interests and perspectives of a diverse demographic. Our mission continues to be connecting Edmontonians aged 18-40 with their city, advocating for the voice of this demographic and advocating on behalf of the interests of Edmonton’s emerging leaders.
