Edmond Pharma is a fine chemical and pharmaceutical Company located in Paderno Dugnano, Italy, a small town in the outskirts of Milan. Here we manufacture APIs and Finish dosage forms for several Generics Companies. In the facility we also synthetize the API and we manufacture some finished forms of Erdosteine, a proprietary product today marketed in 40 countries worldwide. It has recently received the orphan drug status by the American Fda. In Edmond Pharma we perform organic synthesis of Generic APIs for human and veterinary use. High Quality standards allow us to serve heavy regulated markets worldwide. The manufacturing site is authorized by several Health Authorities like Italian AIFA, American FDA, Korean KFDA and Japanese PMDA. We are able to perform all development activities necessary for clinical phases and we gained a long-standing experience in technical transfers. The chemical plant is divided into 3 departments able to produce from 100 gr up to 500 Kg batches at cGMP quality level. October 2014 Edmond Pharma was acquired by Recipharm AB, a leading Pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) based in Sweden
