EditMentor is a fun and interactive training app to teach video literacy, with a standards-aligned curriculum. Students solve creative “challenges” by manipulating our simple, browser-based editing software that provides feedback to students as they work. EditMentor collects student scores in a dashboard, providing valuable insight for teachers. Lessons include: Continuity editing, shot coverage, production terms, trimming, assembly editing, rough cutting, and more. Our curriculum neatly adheres to CTE, Common Core, and ISTE standards of education.
