Orange Polska is the principal supplier of telecommunications services in Poland. Orange Polska
provides services, including fixed-line voice telecommunications, voice mail, fixed access to the Internet and Voice over Internet Protocol (“VoIP”).
Orange Polska provides telecommunications services on the basis of entry number 1 in the register of telecommunications companies carried out by the President of Office of Electronic Communication. Through its subsidiary, Polska Telefonia Komórkowa-Centertel Sp. z o.o., the Group is one of Poland’s major DCS 1800 and GSM 900 mobile telecommunications providers. PTK-Centertel also provides third generation UMTS services and services based on the CDMA technology. In addition, the Group provides leased lines, radio-communications and other telecommunications value added services, sells telecommunications equipment, electronic phone cards and provides data transmission, multimedia services and various Internet services.
As at the end of 2012 Orange Polska had over 20 million customers of different services (mobile, fixed voice, broadband, TV). As at the end of 2012 we achieved revenue of PLN 14.1 billion, EBITDA margin at 34.2% and net free cash flows of PLN 1.5 billion.
Telenor Bulgaria is a leading telecommunication company with over 3.1 million active subscribers in Bulgaria. As of August 1, 2018 Telenor Bulgaria, together with Telenor Hungary and Telenor Serbia and Montenegro, becomes part of PPF Group. PPF Group invests in multiple market segments such as banking and financial services, telecommunications, biotechnology, insurance, real estate, and agriculture. PPF’s reach spans from Europe to Russia, Asia and North America. PPF’s assets under management totaled to almost EUR 38 billion (as at 30 June 2018).
Bereits im Juli 2010 wurden mobilkom austria AG und Telekom Austria TA AG unter dem Firmennamen A1 Telekom Austria AG zusammengeführt. Damit hat sich Österreichs führendes Telekommunikationsunternehmen auf die Konvergenz von Festnetz- und Mobilkommunikation ausgerichtet.
Im Jahr 2011 erfolgte der nächste Schritt: die Stärken beider Unternehmensmarken wurden in einer Monomarke zusammengefasst. Seitdem tritt das Unternehmen mit der Unternehmensmarke A1 am österreichischen Markt auf.
A1 ist mit knapp 6,1 Mio. Mobilfunkkunden (inkl. Yesss!) und knapp 2,3 Mio. Festnetzanschlüssen Österreichs führender Kommunikationsanbieter. Die Kunden profitieren von einem umfassenden Gesamtangebot aus einer Hand, bestehend aus Sprachtelefonie, Internetzugang, digitalem Kabelfernsehen, Daten- und IT-Lösungen, Mehrwertdiensten, Wholesale-Services und mobilen Business- und Payment-Lösungen.
