Edgewater Environmental Coalition Information

We envision a clean, green, and healthy community with a diverse coalition of individuals and groups actively supporting local resiliency, sustainability, and equitability. Bringing a green voice to local challenges, we empower people to build and maintain a more sustainable future through action, organizing, education, and advocacy. We are rooted in advancing a healthy and verdant Edgewater. We host our meetings at 9 am - 10 am on the second Wednesday of each month at Alderman Osterman's office (5533 N Broadway St, Chicago, IL 60640). We will have evening/weekend meetings on occasion, though not regularly, and email out information on those when they are scheduled. We hope you can attend! We are always looking to partner and advance new ideas about sustainability. If you have existing projects, ideas, or want to take action on anything specific, please let us know. If you're curious and want to learn more, we hope to see you at a meeting or event in the near future!
