We are a young company based in San Francisco; we are also a big bet on the future. Specifically, we are a bet on the passion and talent of young people everywhere to make a difference in the world. We started up in November, 2012 with the mission of empowering young people everywhere to become innovators and make a difference. We want to help you find the edge – the edge between the status quo and what is possible, which leads to opportunity the edge between traditional disciplines, which can generate new ideas and the competitive edge for each of you in a rapidly changing world. What will it take to succeed, to have an impact, to make a mark, to find meaning and fulfillment? We believe that a new set of “edge capacities” are required: these include the ability to create and manage the creativity of others; communicate with empathy; be a proactive catalyst; collaborate with a diverse, global, ever-changing array of partners; innovate; and to cultivate the emotional intelligence needed to manage, lead, and inspire. We need to find the edge in order to find meaning, purpose, and success. In a time of unprecedented turmoil and change, what is needed is the ability to perceive new avenues, create new solutions, and drive them to realization.
