Eddystone Primary School Competitors

Our mission statement - Rigorous Minds - Compassionate Hearts - means we are very much about shaping content and character as we normalise striving for excellence in life at school and beyond. We want to assist students to reach their first-choice University, TAFE or apprenticeship aspirations when they graduate. The earlier that process starts, the better.

The purpose of Leda Primary School is to maximise the educational experiences that will encourage each child to demonstrate a positive attitude to other people and his/her own tasks. Known as a leader in modern education for over 25 years, Living Waters Lutheran College is an independent Christian College providing quality education from Kindergarten to Year 12. We nurture, challenge and inspire our students to achieve personal excellence and live a life of integrity beyond the College. Since its inauguration in 1997, Living Waters Lutheran College has established a unique ethos and Christ-centred learning environment. Each student is challenged to look for ways to reach their potential by making the most of the high-quality programs offered. By modelling Christian values, we encourage students to serve others, their school, their family and the wider community. We believe it is important that all young people develop an understanding of Christian principles and values and strive to use these to form the foundation on which they build their lives. It is our goal through the teaching of a balanced curriculum, reinforced by Christian values, that each student is encouraged and supported to develop their talents and gifts. Located in Warnbro, we welcome families from Baldivis, Rockingham, Mandurah and surrounding communities in Western Australia. Central to our mission and ministry as a Lutheran school is our desire to nurture each student, making them aware of their humanity and opening their hearts to the influence of the Holy Spirit so they may grow in confidence and contribute to their changing world. As we live and learn in community, we aim to reflect our core values of love, justice, compassion, forgiveness, service, humility, courage, hope, quality and appreciation.
