ECPAT Germany stands for "Ending the Sexual Exploitation of Children" Mission ECPAT Germany advocates compliance with the UN-Convention on the Rights of the Child, the demonstration of reasons of contempt and the prosecution of offenses with all possible means. We engage in several areas of operations (politics, justice, economy and education). In cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organisations we arrange campaigns and projects to raise public awareness, develop preventive measures and to establish legal regulations for the protection of children. General Information ECPAT Germany is composed of 29 German NGO's, institutions and groups. ECPAT Germany itself is member of ECPAT International, an international children rights organisation based in Bangkok, Thailand. At the moment there are 121 ECPAT groups in 103 nations. The basic principle of ECPAT Germany and its affiliate members is every child's entitlement to full protection against all forms of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse.
