ecostra GmbH is one of the leading consulting companies in the field of real estate and retail and was founded in 2006 in Freiburg im Breisgau. Today, the company is based in Wiesbaden, the capital of Hesse. The geographic field of activity covers all European countries, which makes it possible to combine experience and knowledge from different national markets and to use this for the benefit of the clients. In all analyses, the focus is on a deep understanding of what is happening in the market and the processes that are taking place there, as well as the actual economic feasibility. In the private sector, ecostra works for leading retail companies, e.g. on aspects of branch network planning and expansion strategy, accompanies economic due diligence procedures for investors and financing banks and prepares impact analyses for approval procedures. For public clients, ecostra develops, among other things, retail concepts, studies on the local supply situation, basic studies on land use planning (including commercial & office space requirements), various special analyses (e.g. feasibility studies for different types of use, profitability studies of trade fairs, event and congress centres as well as after-use concepts for department stores) and accompanies inner city development processes and dialogue procedures as an expert consultant and moderator.
