The Passive House Institute (PHI) is an independent research institute responsible for developing the Passive House concept—the only internationally recognised, performance-based energy standard in construction. Together with the International Passive House Association and its vast member network, the Institute spreads the Passive House concept worldwide to make buildings healthier, more comfortable, and better for the planet.

We are engineers, architects, HVAC professionals (no sales or repair), energy consultants, and green building experts. We provide design and design consultations for homes, systems, businesses, neighborhoods, commercial structures.
