ECOnsult Architecture Information

ECOnsult is an Egyptian company established in 2014 as the first environmental consultancy optimization service provider. The consultancy was founded by two award-winning architects, Sarah El Battouty and Andrea Bergonzini, who have been collaborating on several projects. The background of the team is global and is headed by LEED and CeDep certified architects. The consultancy is also the founder and board member of the renowned World Green Building Council’s Egypt unit EGGBC. We have been selected as the most sustainable architectural practice in Egypt recognized by Built It Green Eco-District for 2015. The founders come from a prestigious heritage of architectural families with over 50 years of remarkable projects. This exposure has shaped the diversity and thinking of the ECOnsult team. Together, the team has practiced in many regions from Italy, Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, China and the United Kingdom. This portfolio diversity created an awareness of culture, needs and trends that act as a key characteristic of the company ethos. ECOnsult aims to provide effective solutions that address sustainability competence practices in all sectors. Our aim is to provide our client with a tailored solution to adopt an environmentally, economically and ethical manual that enables them to elevate their company and integrate with global trends.
