The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with a global reach. We promote knowledge of the German language abroad and foster international cultural cooperation. We convey a comprehensive image of Germany by providing information about cultural, social and political life in our nation. Our cultural and educational programmes encourage intercultural dialogue and enable cultural involvement. They strengthen the development of structures in civil society and foster worldwide mobility. With our network of Goethe-Instituts, Goethe Centres, cultural societies, reading rooms and exam and language learning centres, we have been the first point of contact for many with Germany for over sixty years. Our long-lasting partnerships with leading institutions and individuals in hundred countries create enduring trust in Germany. We are partners for all who actively engage with Germany and its culture, working independently and without political ties.

Aiglon College is an international, private co-educational boarding school in the Swiss alps. At Aiglon, we believe in enquiry-based learning. Students are stimulated to go beyond the accumulation of factual knowledge and to address the greater questions that frame our world. For more than 70 years Aiglon has pushed beyond the boundaries of traditional education to offer a holistic and inspirational experience. From junior through to senior school, students benefit from all the advantages of an international boarding school. They form lasting bonds with each other and with excellent educators who guide them towards academic and personal success. Aiglon’s distinctive Guiding Principles, the balanced development of Mind, Body and Spirit, embody the holistic educational ethos of our founder John Corlette. The Aiglon curriculum is designed to ensure that every aspect of a student's intellectual development is supported. Alongside the internationally recognised International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE programmes, our students explore a diverse range of subjects, from Arabic to visual arts. Our boarding house culture is designed to empower the diversity of our student body. With 65 nationalities represented at the school, the house becomes a home in which our students can live and learn alongside friends whom they would never otherwise meet. Changing the world requires character, confidence, knowledge and most of all, kindness. These are values at the very heart of an Aiglon education. We consider our position as a non-profit school to be one of both privilege and responsibility. Maintaining this status allows us to educate and nurture with our full focus on student success. We are dedicated to impressing upon Aiglonians the importance of contributing to the community both locally and internationally. Every Aiglonian leaves us prepared to face the challenges and opportunities of the modern world.
