Green Circle Salons is the beauty industry’s first sustainable salon solution dedicated to fighting beauty waste and climate change. Our award-winning program empowers salons to offset their emissions and recover up to 95% of their beauty waste. That includes previously unrecoverable materials and hard-to-recycle items like hair clippings, foils, excess hair color, aerosol cans, and color tubes. Our goal is to help salons, spas and beauty professionals be green, build revenue, gain clients, and save money in a way that’s ethical and simple. We do that while also ensuring our own operations and practices are carbon neutral and sustainable. We’ve been certified by B Corp and the Carbon Trust to acknowledge that we meet the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility. We are the only waste management company in North America to meet all the requirements for Zero Waste to Landfill Certification.

Hair Aid works globally and nationally to create real, lasting change for people experiencing poverty or crisis. Internationally, we teach haircutting and livelihood skills to people living in slums, shelters, prisons, rehabilitation centres, and remote communities across the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Guatemala. With this training, graduates start their own micro businesses, earn an income, and rebuild their lives. That income becomes food on the table, clean water, school fees, and the chance to move into safe housing. Nearly 7,000 people have been trained since 2010. Across Australia, Hair Aid Community Cuts delivers dignity and connection through free haircuts for people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, financial hardship, illness, or social isolation. Partnering with more than 80 community organisations and powered by a volunteer network of 1,600 hairdressers and barbers, HACC now operates at 100+ locations and provides 15,000+ free haircuts every year.
