EMICERT (formerly ECOCERT) is the leading Greek Verification Body, specialized and reliable, for the Verification of GHG Emission Data Reports. It has been initially accredited by UKAS, and then by ESYD for the full range of activities included on Appendix I of EU ETS Directive. For the next EU ETS Trading Period 2013-2020 EMICERT was the first greek verification body that got its new accreditation according to the ISO 14065 standard and the Regulaton (EE) 600/2012. EMICERT is on the way to complete the extension of its accreditation in order to include the Shipping MRV Regulation (2015/757/EC). EMICERT is also accredited for providing verification services for: - the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) scheme - carbon footprint inventories and reports, according to ISO 14064-1, for voluntary systems. It holds a market leading position in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Ireland, and it operates also in Romania, Ukraine & Turkey.
