Our product focus is on magnesium oxysulphate (MOS) cement boards (also offered in sandwich panel form with XPS insulation). MOS boards are the latest generation of magnesium oxide (MgO) cement boards which offer a range of benefits over fibre cement, plasterboard and previous generations of MgO cement boards. For example, our MOS boards: • have superior bending, impact and nail-pull strength. • are not only non-combustible, they have exceptional fire-resistant qualities and maintain their integrity even when subjected to extreme fire temperatures. On the other hand, fibre cement boards tend to crack and break down when subjected to the same heat. • are eco-friendly – ie: they have very low embodied energy and magnesia, their primary ingredient, is easily accessible. • are not susceptible to moisture, mould, vermin, termites and will not rot. • are chloride-free; thus, they do not “sweat” like previous generations of MgO board and do not cause corrosion. • are affordable when compared to competitor products. • have been (and continue to be regularly) tested to and have met Australian standards.
