EcoBook Information

The EcoBook is a reusable notebook. It recreate the writing experience of a whiteboard, we can write, erase with a simple cloth and reuse. It is the notebook for life. It all started with a problem stated by the founder Pedro Lopes (an 18 year old student) and because he didn’t know if there was a market to the product he started a crowdfunding campaign with just a bad prototype and the promise of one good notebook. It was a success and the project got 185% of the value that was asking at first and got 101 people to believe and put money on something that didn’t existed. After that we entered the UPTEC Startup acceleration program and after the 6 months we won the final pitch. Between those months we sold more than 6000 notebooks with no marketing and a bad website. We also found some resellers around the country, sold to prestigious companies, (JP Sá Couto, Mind Source, Acustica Médica, and many others), institutions and NGO (Câmara Municipal de Viseu, Planeta Vida and others) and sold to every continent through our online store. Now, we want to grow and go abroad.
