Eco Island Packaging Information

Throughout my time spent in Antigua over the last 10 years, I was amazed by its scenic beauty but also a not-so-beautiful side to the island: SINGLE USE PLASTICS AND STRYROFOAM! With a booming tourism industry, high import costs, and lack of any recycling/waste management infrastructures, many countries have turned to cheap single use items to serve customers with little knowledge on how it effects the environment. As I did some research, I found that the Caribbean has 5 countries in the top 10 for highest producers of waste per capita. ECO ISLAND PACKAGING was created in order to give our communities an alternative to plastic/styrofoam and to continue to educate about the harmful effects they on our environment. Its time to make the change!
