Founded in 1977 Sonic Systems International (SSI) is a full-service quality-consulting firm serving the nuclear power generation utility industry. We provide quality-based solutions to a wide range of technical compliance efforts, either scheduled or emergent, for in-service inspection, reactor maintenance, reactor refuel management, quality engineering, decommissioning tasks, such as handling spent fuel transfer into ISFSIs [independent spent fuel storage installations], and automated or manual NDE in-service inspection challenges, in over twenty countries around the globe. Our staff of career-minded employees averages 25 years of experience that spans the full scope of integrated technical services for both Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and Boiling Water Reactors (BWR). We deliver on site plant /outage specific solutions that combine project-management tools, quality program management, and industry best practices to solve nearly any regulatory, inspection, quality validation, or engineering support challenge. Innovatech Labs offers a broad range of analytical techniques in our materials analysis and testing lab, all available with rapid turn around times, including: organic spectroscopies (FTIR GC/MS) spectroscopies (ESCA/XPS, AUGER, SEM/EDS) ion chromatography (IC testing) liquid particle counting (LPC) When paired with our experienced analysts, these materials analysis techniques assist in manufacturing support, cleanliness testing, product failure analysis, materials characterization, and quality control.

PROTECH SYSTEMS was founded in May 1978 in South Gate, California by Jim and Mike Stephens, with the goal of becoming the industry leader in manufacturing all types of machine tool guarding. Since then, PROTECH has experienced steady growth and industry respect as a result of offering economical and practical solutions to machine tool guarding and automation. Gail Stephens bougth out Mike's share of the company in 1994 and became the major shareholder and president of the company until 2012. Gail's son Tim, came to the company in 1994 after several years in manufacturing and both Gail and Tim were leading PROTECH SYSTEMS until 2012. In 2012 Jorge Rios with manufacturing and electro-mechanic industrial engineering experience, came on board as a new owner and CEO of PROTECH SYSTEMS, bringing new and innovative ideas, with the vision and commitment to take PROTECH SYSTEMS to the next level.
