The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, also known as The Mother Church, is the global headquarters for the Christian Science movement, a Christian denomination originated in America, founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879. Different areas of operations support the Church’s healing mission and share the teachings and practice of Christian Science with the world. The Christian Science Publishing Society has continually published products and publications for more than a century, including the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons, Christian Science Sentinel, The Christian Science Journal, and The Herald of Christian Science. It is also home of The Christian Science Monitor, an award-winning global news publication.
