Echo Offshore, LLC provides high-resolution marine geophysical and positioning services for the offshore energy industry, in the US and internationally, from the coastal zone to the ocean depths. We image the seafloor and sub-seafloor with multibeam and single-beam bathymetry, sidescan sonar, subbottom profiling, magnetometry, and high-resolution 2D seismic, acquired from vessel-mounted systems in shallower water or our 4,500-meter depth-rated Bluefin-21 AUV with Synthetic Aperture Sonar for deepwater work. Construction support includes precision positioning for rig moves and for pipeline and platform installation and decommissioning, supplemented by sector scanning sonars, 3D Echoscopes, and gradiometers for seafloor clearance and infrastructure detection. Our staff has performed thousands of geohazard, archaeological, and benthic assessments in compliance with state and federal regulations, with decades of experience in shallow hazards investigations, pipeline pre-lay surveys, and site characterization. Every project is supported end-to-end, from planning, design, and regulatory permitting through acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation.
