Echo Community Practice Information

Echo Community Practice is a trauma-responsive, liberatory therapy collective rooted in the belief that healing is relational, contextual, and deeply shaped by history, power, and community. At its core, Echo offers individual, couples, family, group, and sex therapy grounded in anti-racist, feminist, abolitionist, and decolonial frameworks. Our clinicians practice with a deep respect for nervous system wisdom, identity, survival strategies, and meaning-making—moving away from pathologizing models and toward care that honors people within the realities of their lived conditions. But Echo is more than a therapy practice. Echo Community Practice is an expansive collective—a space for clinicians, learners, and community members to think together, build together, and imagine new ways of relating, supporting, and healing beyond the limits of traditional mental health systems. We are committed to: Cultivating ethical, reflective, and relational clinical practice Providing mentorship, supervision, and collective learning spaces for therapists Bridging therapy with community care, education, and liberation-focused praxis Challenging extractive, individualistic, and carceral approaches to “treatment” Holding space for grief, resistance, joy, contradiction, and possibility Echo exists at the intersection of clinical care, collective care, and social imagination. We see therapy not as an endpoint, but as one of many tools for supporting people and communities navigating harm, oppression, love, survival, and transformation. We are building something slow, intentional, and deeply human—where care is collaborative, accountability is relational, and healing is understood as both personal and collective. Echo Community Practice is based in Los Angeles and rooted in community, solidarity, and care that listens.
