Echo Base is a privately funded special situations investing firm deploying proprietary capital across the digital asset ecosystem. The mandate is opportunistic, extending across geographies and situations and through the capital structure from senior secured claims to control equity. Echo Base takes an active role in the processes it underwrites. Echo Base Opportunities (EBO) acquires control and negative-control equity in digital asset businesses where the binding constraint is the capital structure, governance or operations rather than the product. Positions are held through purpose-built acquisition vehicles, underwritten on asset coverage and a defined liquidity path, with a strategic sale the preferred exit. Echo Base Finance (EBF) provides rescue, bridge and reorganization financing on compressed timelines. Instruments are senior secured debt or structured preferred carrying a liquidation preference, a cumulative coupon, milestone-gated tranches and governance protections, sized against a waterfall and recovery analysis. EBF also underwrites debtor-in-possession and exit financing, sponsors pre-negotiated plans, and acquires claims and positions in pending bankruptcy cases. Echo Base Recovery (EBR) is the firm's asset administration platform, engaged either as agent of the company or as acquirer of the estate. EBR provides compliant and orderly wind-down administration for the benefit of the company's stakeholders, across off-chain platforms including exchanges, custodians, brokers and payment companies, and on-chain protocols including bridges, escrows, rollups, lending markets and foundation and DAO treasuries. Echo Base works directly with founders and boards, principal to principal, and closely with the advisors, counsel, and bankers who see these situations first.
