Echidna re-architects the surveillance stack from the ground up for machine understanding of environments, delivering SituAItional Awareness™ rather than raw video. Our platform integrates modular, ruggedised hardware with edge processing, communications, and cloud-based analytics to generate actionable insights in challenging, remote and high-risk environments. By controlling the full stack (sensor, hardware, firmware, software and AI models) we ensure data quality, reliability and adaptability that legacy camera systems and software overlays cannot achieve. Echidna systems are designed to adapt to the mission, not the other way around. Power, connectivity, sensing and analytics can be configured to suit the operational context, whether that’s compliance and enforcement, asset and site security, wildlife and pest management, or critical infrastructure monitoring. We work closely with government agencies, regulators and operators who need trustworthy, lawful and effective surveillance outcomes, not hours of footage to manually review.
