Ebdaa Microfinance Bank Bahrain is one of the Banks for the Poor Created by the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) based on the vision of HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdelaziz of Saudi Arabia with the aim of helping Poor and Limited Income people to become part of the economic cycle. Ebdaa Bahrain was established back in 2009 and was officially inaugurated by HRH Princess Sabika Bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, the Princess of Bahrain, and HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdelaziz of Saudi Arabia in a big event in Manama. Ebdaa Bank is the third bank to be established by AGFUND following the Watani Bank in Jordan and Al-Amal Bank in Yemen. Ebdaa Bahrain focuses on implementing part of the Economic Vision of Bahrain 2030 by providing credit opportunities, insurance services, and capacity building services to the poor and limited income Bahrainis to help them improve their living standards and increase their overall families' income.
