eBay China Center of Excellence (eBay CCOE), established in 2004, is eBay's very first and the largest offshore R&D center. it is a technology powerhouse with the expertise on big data, large-scale distributed computing, real time customized data service, AI-based search engines, internet intelligent advertising, cloud computing and global application development platform to deliver incredible results not only to our eBay customers but also to the open source community. Those products and services play a key and integral part in eBay’s overall strategy. So far, eBay CCOE has successfully incubated three Apache open source projects—Kylin, Eagle and Griffin, all developed by the center and upgraded to become Apache's Top-Level projects.
