Eau Vivre Winery Information

Located in Cawston, BC, in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, Eau Vivre is a family run boutique winery owned and operated by Dale Wright and Jeraldine Estin. They established the winery in 2007. But a winery is nothing without a winemaker. We have found the fit for Eau Vivre in Anthony Buchanan who has worked in the BC Wine Industry for over 8 years now. He is in charge of producing the full range of our award winning wines, from nurturing the vines to bottling the wine. Anthony is a gradute of the Professional Enology Certificate Program through Washington State University and the Winemaking program at Okanagan College. He has completed Sommerlier and WSET training as well as Vineyard Management training. He has worked at Blue Mountain Vineyards & Cellars, Church & State Wines, Soaring Eagle Estate Winery and Paradeise Ranch (Bench 1775 Winery) before joining us here at Eau Vivre Winery. "I love the wine industry. Anthony explains, "I love the artistic side and creating wines that people love to savour. I enjoy the challenge of constantly looking for ways to innovate and evolve the various winemaking processes. I wanted to join the Eau Vivre team because there is a great fit between my philosophies and those of Dale and Jeraldine. Eau Vivre is a relatively new winery that is producing great award wining wines and I am looking forward to helping them build on the momentum they have already built." Co-propietor Wright expands, " Our flagship wine is our award winning Pinot Noir, which also happens to be Anthony's favorite grape and wine. After winning back to back Lieutenant Governor's Award for excellence in British Columbia Wines in 2012 and 2013 for our 2009 and 2010 Pinot Noir, we want to continue to strive for this high level of excellence in all our wines, and we are confident that Anthony will help us with this."
