Eat Drink & Be Merry Hospitality is proud to own and operate a diverse portfolio of 15 successful bars and restaurants located in New York, New York, Chicago, Illinois and Charleston, South Carolina. Our iconic neighborhood staples were designed to create a welcoming and warm atmosphere while offering classic American pub fare, affordable cocktails and exceptional service. We also have a full-scale in-house event team who provide premium and personalized service in assisting clients to curate a unique experience in any of our locations or 18 exclusive event spaces. In 1991, we began with a small, basement bar in the heart of the West Village of New York City. Almost 30 years later, we expanded our business with eight locations in Manhattan, four locations in Chicago and currently three locations in Charleston. After Down the Hatch, we went on to open Mo’s Caribbean (1992), Jake’s Dilemma (1994), The Gin Mill (1995) and Off the Wagon (1998). In the late 90’s we launched our full-time in-house event department to expand our already thriving party business.
