Here at EasyRead Time Teacher we love analogue clocks and we want to make sure everyone knows how to use them! Lots of children have great difficulty learning to tell the time on the analogue clock. With the increasing reliance on all things digital, this difficulty is becoming more prevalent. Many people reach their teenage and adult years without attaining the essential life skill of being able to read a clock. The traditional primary school methods of teaching analogue time, between the ages of about 5 to 8, are only about 50% effective. EasyRead Time Teacher make analogue clocks, watches and classroom teaching aids, all specially designed to help children age 5+ learn to tell the time quickly and easily. We have developed a unique step-by-step teaching system that simplifies the process of learning to read the clock. Our teaching methods and products are being used to great effect by families and teachers in the UK, Australia, Europe and North America. EasyRead Time Teacher is a family business based in the UK and Australia. The business was founded by Roger Shackleton, who came up with the EasyRead teaching method while struggling to teach his own children to learn to tell the time.
