Easymindstudio Information

Easymindstudio is the independent practice of Igor Tosic, focused on the hard parts of visual web software: document and PDF annotation, canvas-based interfaces, and geospatial applications that stay fast over very large datasets. Most web work is forms and dashboards, and most developers are good at it. Far fewer have built an annotation engine that engineers depend on daily inside a major energy company, or migrated a national-scale mapping application between GIS stacks. That's the work this practice takes on. Typical engagements • Building annotation and markup tooling — drawing tools over PDFs and technical documents, on HTML5 Canvas • Architecture review for a canvas, annotation or mapping application • Performance work on interfaces that have outgrown their original design • Frontend architecture and UI system design for complex, data-heavy products Background I work as a senior software engineer at Statens vegvesen, on a national-scale public transport analysis application where we moved the mapping stack from ArcGIS to OpenLayers. Before that, as a senior consultant at Capgemini, I built STID Annotation for Equinor — browser-based annotation of engineering documentation, with custom drawing tools rendered over PDFs using KonvaJS and HTML5 Canvas. Earlier: UI library and UX ownership at Carweb (owned by Finn.no), e-commerce and payment integrations, and web personalization. Engagements are usually end-to-end: I build the backend as well as the interface, in Python/Django or Node depending on what fits. Since 2005 Easymindstudio began in Serbia as a video production and web development agency, which I founded at 25 and ran with a small team until 2013. Those years are where the business side of how I work comes from: what a project actually costs, what a client actually needs, and when to say no. The practice now operates from Fredrikstad, Norway, with a narrower and deeper focus.
