At Easy Bean, we love pulses, they're one of nature's healthiest foods and we are on a mission to create delicious new ways to enjoy beans, peas and lentils. Based in South Somerset with our own gluten free bakery and in-house kitchen, we produce two baked ranges and one chilled range. All made in small batches using natural ingredients. We pioneered the one-pot meal, a range of chilled healthy ready meals inspired by rustic one-pot cooking from around the world. Today we produce a range of five recipes; chunky veg and nutritious pulses, infused with herbs and spices, slowly cooked in small batches. 100% natural ingredients, gluten free, dairy free and suitable for vegans. In 2013 we launched the UK's first Chickpea Crispbread, a range of artisan crispbread using naturally gluten free chickpea flour and locally sourced butter and buttermilk, topped with seeds. Our most recent launch is a range of Bean & Seed Crackers, baked with pulse flours, milled from British grown crops. Gluten free, dairy free and suitable for vegans. Easy Bean was founded in 2008 by Christina. Having worked in tropical agriculture in the 1980s she became fascinated by pulses (beans, peas and lentils). Not only did she appreciate their contribution to so many cuisines and their nutritional status, but was also excited by the enormous variety, the regional differences, as well as their ability to fertilize the soil as they grow by putting nitrogen back into the soil.
