Eastern Communication Co., Ltd (hereinafter Eastcom) is a state-owned high-tech enterprise engaged in the professional network communication public mobile communication and financial electronics business. Established in 1958, Eastcom was restructured into a joint-stock company in 1996, and issued both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. With1.256 billion RMB (USD202.58 million) registered capital and over 3000 employees, Eastcom is equipped with a national technology center, a post-doctoral workstation and an academician workstation. In the network communication industry, Eastcom is an executive director of the PDT alliance, a member of TCCA (original RETRA MOU), and the DMR association.
