At East of Eden Plants and Designs we are passionate about plants. They inspire us to design and create striking and environmentally sensitive plantscapes that will complement and enhance any exterior or interior setting, from the smallest courtyard or office to extensive landscapes. Led by Peter Belton, an award winning Botanist, Environmentalist and artist turned Garden and Landscape Designer, our team combines inspiration with expertise, to design enduring environments that unite and fuse elements throughout the space. Our main focus is to create harmony between the human living space and the natural world through sustainable green living designs. Furthermore, we are passionate about the newest form of art – Living Walls. By combining an understanding of botanical science, ecological balance and unique architectural design, East of Eden offers unique expertise in the creation of vertical gardens, also known as green walls, living walls and Green Screens, inside and outside of any type of structure: residential, schools, commercial and government, to provide a sense of wellbeing, as well as make a significant contribution to the cleaning of the air we breathe. While green walls are aesthetically inspiring, they offer many additional benefits such as improved air quality through trapping particulate matter and capturing gases, improved energy efficiency by reducing ambient temperature via evapotranspiration and shading, building and structure protection as well as noise reduction. The transformative power of green wall systems is instantly notable, one can observe how people are drawn to them and will hold their conversations.
