Shaun Stead, owner and operator or East Coast Spreaders, has been involved with spreading manure, compost and soil for the past 28 years - both on his own farm, and as a contractor. Shaun Stead says:I have been trying to do the best job we could with the machinery available to us in Australia, but unfortunately every machine we used over the past 20 years were only a compromise; they just weren’t designed to spread the products our customers used - manure (dry and wet), compost, mulch, wood chips and soil. So I visited several manufacturers in different countries to be able to bring to Australia the machinery capable of spreading all these products in the quantities our customers required, and we now believe we have available the very best machines to do the job, and at very competitive prices.
