EarthCure has designed a system for recycling relatively trace amounts of Platinum, Gold, Silver, Rhodium, and Palladium that traditional refiners would ignore. The trace amounts of platinum that reside on EP catheters, Angioplasty guide wires, etc, would not be considered financially viable for recycling with older technologies, but using a proprietary heat and chemical system that is much more advanced, EarthCure can refine to a much more exacting degree (to the 0.01%) than what was previously thought possible. We are the only refinery in the country that institutes this technology, which yields substantially more platinum/gold/palladium/silver per ounce of medical waste material. We take these discarded materials, refine them, extract any precious metals (platinum, in this case), and pay the hospitals and medical facilities back. In addition, we wanted to accomplish this goal in a manner that is completely green. That is to say, this operation would take place in a zero-emission facility, that is completely EPA compliant, with no carbon footprint. At our state-of-the-art facility we designed a system for recycling trace amounts of Platinum, Gold, Silver, Rhodium, and Palladium. Normally, traditional refiners would ignore the trace amounts of platinum that reside on the EP catheters, Angioplasty guide wires, etc, claiming that there isn't enough platinum to be financially viable. We are the only refinery in the country that institutes this technology.
